It was the beginning of an era when starting in 1911 the Collins-McCarthy Company of San Francisco inserted cards of PCL players into boxes of their candy products. This run lasted 28 seasons and captured several legends and colorful personalities. From the inaugural edition arrives the offered 1911 Zeenut PCL starter set of (38) different cards. These sepia-toned beauties which measure 2-1/8 x 4” have an overall condition breakdown of 29% (VG to VG-EX), 39% (GD), 13% (FR) and 19% (PR) with 18% displaying paper loss, pin holes and/or writing.
