Description

As the calendar marches forward, favorable views on Richard Nixon’s presidency cite (among other things) the former Chief Executive’s strides in diplomatic relations with China and the Soviet Union. This limited (2118/2500) first edition copy of The Memoirs of Richard Nixon (1978, Grosset & Dunlap) is signed by its esteemed author, as well as by Rock-n-Roll icon (and self-professed “apolitical” citizen) Alice Cooper. On a flyleaf, Nixon’s black-ink steeltip fountain pen scripting projects (“9-10”) strength and clarity. Just below, a 4 x 2-3/4” sheet autographed by Cooper (“8” strength) is adhered. The hardcover volume presents beautifully and is a welcome addition to any presidential collection. Full photo LOA from JSA

Also included is a 48-ct. 1972 retail box of Nixon Bubble Gum Cigars (in original box)
