Advanced rarity collectors should take note of this rare and incredibly attractive 1903 Boston Beaneaters complete “Full Season” ticket book, good for (2) admissions. This amazingly well preserved book features a gorgeous leather bound cover which shows only minor signs of wear, primarily light surface abrasions on the corners and spine and a full complement of tickets in pristine unused condition. Measuring 4 x 2-1/4” the red-brown cover bears lustrous gilt lettering which reads “Boston Base Ball Club, Season 1903, 104”. The page inside the front cover records the ticket holder as “Mr. Fred E. Ling” and is signed by team treasurer “J.B. Billings”. This page is minimally affected by light foxing and a crack where the paper overlay meets the spine. It is stamped across the text “Complimentary” and features the season ticket number “104” at lower left above the name of the printer “Baker, Jones & Co”. The (39) ticket coupon pages feature (4) perforated tickets per page numbered for games one through seventy-eight with (2) coupons for each game for a total of (156) ticket coupons, all completely intact and free of any markings. This item has a reserve. (Estimated value $3000-$6000)
