As preposterous as the distances of his tape-measure home runs, Mickey Mantle’s “Minute a Day Gym” promised the “physique of an athlete” for a daily investment of 60 seconds. The 1963 self-improvement novelty is complete with mint-in-box equipment, (4) original instruction manuals and the original retail box. The latter item has been autographed by Mantle. Executed in black marker on the cover flap, Mantle’s penning projects (“9”) potency. Full photo LOA from PSA/DNA. More on our website.
The box shows wear with separation on the front flap and a portion of the right side flap missing. Of note is the fact that these were discovered in bulk quantities following Mantle’s passing in 1995. This, however, was signed and preserved well before the Mantle autograph craze blossomed.
