Prior to initiating a fashion statement with his players’ facial hair, legendary owner Charlie Finley introduced bold “green and gold” uniform colors. This warm-up jacket was worn by an A’s player during the 1968 and/or 1969 seasons. The green nylon button-down garment features an olde English “A” logo sewn to the left breast in white-on-gold twill, with green-white-and-gold striped stretch ribbed cotton lining the collar, waistline and sleeve endings. A “Wilson” size “42” label and leather hanger reside within the collar. Moderate wear is evident.
