1972-1984 Jacket a blue windbreaker with “LA” sewn to the left breast in white twill. On the lower interior portion of the right-side button path, a “Rawlings” label denotes size “XL.” Within the 3”-wide collar, remnants of a tag remain. On the right breast, Don Drysdale has signed in black marker and inscribed “1964.” While the origin of this inscription is unclear, the jacket’s use cannot be attributed to Drysdale, as the tagging and “LA” twill logo post-date his career. Auction LOA from JSA for the autograph.
1985-1986 Jacket a blue satin-like button-down garment with “Dodgers” angled across the chest in white twill, while blue-and-white striped stretch ribbed cotton lines the collar, waistline and sleeve endings. There are (2) front pockets, a thick wool lining and, within the right-side button path, a “Rawlings” size “48” label.
1987 Jacket a blue knit zippered garment with “Dodgers” angled on the left breast in white appliqué. The left sleeve is home to a Dodger Stadium 25th anniversary logo patch. Within the 4”-wide collar, a “W.A. Goodman & Sons” size “42” label is accompanied by an unmarked manufacturer’s “Identification” tag. A cloth hanger accompanies. Blue-and-white striped stretch ribbed knit lines the collar, waistline and sleeve endings.
