Cruising to what appeared would be their second World Series title in four years, the 1985 St. Louis Cardinals encountered a road block named Don Denkinger. From there, Jack Clark missed a routine pop fly, Joaquin Andujar had a meltdown, and the decisive Game 7 was anything but dramatic. Encapsulated and Graded MINT 9 by PSA, this full ticket was issued at Kansas City’s Royals Stadium for the first and only championship triumph in team history. This is one of four at its tier with none graded higher. The colorful voucher features printed seating/event details, as well as team and event logos. Razor sharp edges/corners, strong perforations and a clean reverse are consistent with the technical assessment.
