A pioneer in the realm of published fiction, Jack London gained valuable insight from true to life experiences in the Klondike and beyond. These (5) checks have each been signed by the gifted writer. Drawn from London’s account at the Central Bank of Oakland, the vouchers span 1905 through 1915 and are signed on the appropriate line by London (d.1916) in black-ink fountain pen. Normal cancellation stampings do not affect potent scriptings that average (“9”) strength. LOA from John Reznikoff, University Archives. This lot has a reserve (estimated value $500-$1000)
